John’s Approach to Mediation
Every case is different, and your mediation should be, too. From our first Zoom call with counsel before mediation day through the day we shred our file, our job is to learn what it will take to help get your case settled — and to tailor our process to help you and the other side get there if now is the time.
Don’t let your case be something you spend a hundred grand a month on until everyone’s finally ready to deal with it.

- We ask for — and read — the case documents you send well before mediation day;
- We meet with you over Zoom as mediation approaches;
- We ask how we can tailor the process to maximize your chances of success;
- We work to understand the law, the facts, the personalities, and the other factors at work in your dispute;
- We ask about creative ways to get your case settled; and
- We follow up after mediation day — whether you settle or not.
As you can see, our mediations are different because John’s background is different. John knows what questions to ask — and has the experience to know that the right question at the wrong time is the wrong question.
